Background: Dawson Co-operative Union: Sustainability in Action As a leading co-operative in the Peace Region, Dawson Co-op serves its members through key commodities, including petroleum, agriculture, grocery, and home & building solutions. Our operations are rooted in the principles of environmental stewardship, community engagement, and sustainable development. A Commitment to Sustainability Dawson Co-op is dedicated to reducing its environmental footprint and strengthening community well-being. From supporting local food security initiatives to advocating for sustainable farming and energy practices, we prioritize long-term, impactful solutions that align with global sustainability standards. Conducted regional training-of-trainers for cooperative auditors, organized stakeholder review meetings, and coordinated experience-sharing visits for over 400 cooperative leaders to enhance performance and sustainability.
