Bio

I owned and operated a chain of retail stores for 20 years, learning how to be a highly effective customer-facing operator.

In 1993, I founded an online service that unified an underserved community. By 1999, over four million members chatted for more than five million hours a month.

In 2007, we created ROI Genius™, an end-to-end, integrated SaaS business process platform that includes lead generation, sales, marketing, flexible line-item budgeting, and the measurement and reporting of activities.

Our wholesale technology business, Alternative Spaces, offers design services, UI/UX and 3D modeling, web, Android, IOS development, VR/AR/MR, and integration of IoT devices.

Our newest company is ExtendaTouch, matches unpaid family caregivers, enabling them to connect with each other to share tips, lessons learned, and support.

We offer direct links to more than 10,000 non-profits. ExtendaTouch is free, anonymous, and safe for more than 53 million unpaid caregivers.

I truly appreciated the opportunity to work alongside my colleagues and with Mr. Cramer during the Capstone Project. This experience was not only insightful but also full of empathy and meaningful collaboration. I found it especially interesting to explore how care can be integrated with technology to better support individuals and families on a deeper, more human level. Mr. Cramer’s vision—aligning care with technology—really stood out to me. Understanding how to support that vision while working on monetization strategies gave me a clearer picture of what it's like to plan and build a business in the real world. It helped me identify both potential risks and opportunities, and it made the experience feel practical and realistic. Throughout this project, I improved important skills such as collaboration, communication, research, and critical thinking. I also felt myself growing in confidence—especially when speaking, presenting ideas, and thinking creatively. I believe this experience will be very useful in my future academic and professional journey, and I’m thankful for the learning environment it created.

Project feedback
Hi, my name is Puneet, and I had the great opportunity to work with the Caregiving network with my teammates to develop a monetization plan. Our primary focus was to create a monetization strategy that leverages the various marketing opportunities within the caregiving environment. My experience working with Andy and the Caregiving team was a highly insightful and engaging experience for me. This was the first time I had the opportunity to serve a client in the real business world, facing its demands and challenges. Andy was great with communication and guidance throughout the course. His constant feedback on progress reports and thoughtful actions helped our group reach significant results by the end of the project.  This project allowed me to test my potential as a team player, a better communicator, a time manager, as well as a strategic thinker through market research. I also gained valuable experience in monetization modelling and stakeholder analysis. These are the opportunities new bees look for to work in a real-world, challenging environment.  Regarding my team experience, we have collaborated closely and maintained a professional tone in our communication, with a strong focus on consistent workflow. Working in a group environment has taught me how to align my thinking process and working structure when collaborating with different individuals. This gives you a better approach to examining leadership roles and the environment.   The only suggestion for improvement is that the communication between the client and the team member should be done with a more connective approach. A video call conference at the beginning of the project could be used to meet and set up the project, rather than relying on messaging and waiting for replies.  Overall, I have enjoyed this project and the opportunity to work with some great individuals who have extensive experience and are eager to share it with others. It was an enriching experience working with Andy and the Caregiving Network on the Ripen platform, which has contributed significantly to my academic journey.

Monetization Strategy for Caregiving Network

Initially developed as a free resource for families dealing with caregiving, Caregiving Network is seeking to transition into a self-sustaining model by monetizing its generative AI technology, content, and interactive apps. The goal is to create a viable leasing strategy that allows other organizations to utilize these resources while maintaining the core mission of supporting caregivers. The project involves analyzing the current offerings, identifying potential market segments, and developing a comprehensive monetization plan. This plan should consider pricing strategies, potential partnerships, and marketing approaches. The project aims to ensure that the Caregiving Network remains accessible to those in need while generating revenue to support its ongoing development and expansion. In June, we are developing care teams that will operationalize the spread of caregiving and support among families and trusted friends.

Modernizing/Contanerizing LAMP Stack & Enhanced new UI/UX with ROI Optimization Focus

ROIgenius® is undertaking a modernization project to update its LAMP stack-based application with a focus on delivering better results for its users. The goal is to enhance the platform’s user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) so that companies using the system can more easily track and improve their return on investment (ROI) across all activities. While the current platform is stable and reliable, it now needs a fresh, intuitive design that reflects today’s best practices in usability and visual design. The project includes two core technical components: A comprehensive review of the LAMP stack to ensure it’s optimized for speed, security, and scalability. A transition to containerization, enabling more efficient deployment and system flexibility. The final phase will involve researching modern UI/UX trends and applying those insights to redesign the application’s front end, always with ROI as the central focus for any business. This project is ideal for a team of learners in computer science or software engineering programs. It offers hands-on experience with full-stack web development, containerization, and design thinking in a real-world setting—where every design decision is tied directly to measurable business value. We are undertaking a strategic project to evolve a powerful, fully developed end-to-end business platform—one that already reflects years of strategic programming and has successfully supported the management of over $2 billion in transactional volume. This platform was purpose-built to streamline and unify core business functions including: Lead generation and qualification, Personalized, customer-facing sales protocols and workflows, Marketing automation, Inventory management, and Comprehensive budgeting and financial tracking.
