Expected outcomes and deliverables

At the end of this collaboration, it is the hope that students will develop an appreciation for working with external clients and begin to understand the consultancy skillsets. Expect these undergraduate students to be early in their understanding of consultancy, but are guided by an experienced consultant as their advisor. Students will provide a presentation of their findings. Employers should be prepared to provide constructive feedback and support students in building their presentation skills

Project examples

We are looking for projects which will help us understand the multiple elements involved in business strategic thinking. Ideal projects should engage students in research, analysis, and practical application of the steps taken towards strategic planning. Here are examples of suitable projects:

  • Customer Experience Improvement: We propose to analyze your service delivery mechanisms to identify deficiencies and recommend actionable improvements that will enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning: We propose to develop an environment scan of your organization's product lines, comparing and contrasting the external environment and competition.
  • Leadership Development: As the next generation of workers, we propose to evaluate current training processes, leadership development initiatives and provide actionable enhancements for incoming workers.
  • Competitive Perspectives: We are skilled at evaluating competitor initiatives in light of consumer trends.
