Topic: Opportunities (for women) in STEM-Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Fields
Skills Used: This is a skills based project. More specifically, this is a 'work-integrated' learning project as it utilizes skills needed in the sciences and for industry. Industry partners have shared that students benefit from practicing data collection, research, communication and presentation skills which are all skills used for both parts of this project.
Deliverable-what do you need to do for this project? :
1) Please use Google scholar (as an example) to research peer-reviewed articles that cover opportunities (specifically for women) in STEM fields.
2) Choose 2 individual articles and fill out the information asked ( summary, citation etc.) using iSAW template. This template can be found under project resources tab in Riipen (Please note that Riipen can be used to communicate with iSAW, find and upload resources but items must be completed by their due dates and uploaded in Canvas for those extra points) or download grid. This is worth 25 extra credit points -this is why points show as 0 in the module.
